Investing in restoration pays

A report released by the US Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) says that every federal dollar spent produces a return on investment of $7-9.

Habitat restoration projects generated $326 million dollars in economic activity nation wide. This is without inclusion of potential additional benefits of ecological services, improved recreational opportunities, and land acquisition.
